Cell Phone Novel.
I have a completed story, Once Upon A Graduation Party, which is a short story, and since I am intrigued by the 'cell phone - text novel' I am going to work on converting the story to a cell phone novel.
I am excited, since I have never done anything like this before. I think it will be great fun.

Vegas is closer than I thought...
Though LIP is not yet complete and still has some chapters to come; however, I seem to be more and more drawn to work on Vegas Follows You Home.
I've been playing with the cover for the story. Not sure if it will be the final one or not.
Some work still needs done, but it has begun.

Modern Arrangement
So, I couldn't resist. I had to start posting Modern Arrangement. I missed this story so much, so it is so great to read it and go through it again.
MODERN ARRANGEMENT
Prologue
Aidan sat with his Uncle Liam and Aunt Viola at yet another family funeral. It felt like only yesterday that he was sitting in this exact spot listening to the priest say the same heartfelt words about his parents while bagpipes played in the background. They always were a family true to their Irish heritage and traditions.
Eliza and Aidan Iverson II were both murdered in their home. It was a high profile case that spread across the news like wildfire. With Aidan as their only child his face became a household name as the mystery was solved and custody was established, which was that his father’s youngest brother Liam and his wife Viola would be Aidan’s guardians.
Aidan Iverson Senior (or the first) had chosen Aidan from the beginning as his ‘golden child’. While Aidan Senior showed all of his grandchildren love and kindness, everyone was well aware of the favoritism and fondness for Aidan. Aidan Sr. had long established that his grandson would take over AIS upon his death or retirement.
Aidan loved his grandfather and respected him for the majority of his life; however he became a rebellious teenager and even quite a cocky player through college and after. Aidan Sr. wanted him to be more serious about his life, business and personal; however, Aidan had gotten tired of being ‘told’ what to do. Though in business Aidan worked hard and was amazing in the media business.
Aidan III enraged his grandfather by showing up in gossip rags and websites, such as TMZ and Perez Hilton, with a multitude of different, less than wholesome, woman and getting into ‘unacceptable’ situations. His grandfather often made threats, but they never came to fruition.
Now his grandfather was gone and Aidan had some large shoes to fill as the sole heir to the family’s multibillion dollar company. After the burial the family gathered at his grandfather’s mansion. Immediate family was requested to sit in the library as the final requests of Aidan Iverson Senior were read.
Aidan sat once again between Liam and Viola. Vi held on to Aidan’s hand tightly. Mr. Devlin, the family attorney, stood at his grandfather’s large mahogany desk with folders, papers, and a small plastic case in front of him.
“First of all I would like to express my deepest condolences for your loss,” Devlin paused for a moment before he continued. “At the request of Mr. Iverson Senior we have a DVD that you are to watch after the will is read.”
Mr. Devlin proceeded to establish everyone’s ‘share’ of the inheritance. Most were receiving monetary inheritance or physical assets like property or cars. Liam and Viola were given a large sum of money and an Island. His cousin James Iverson acquired a monetary inheritance as well.
James and Aidan had gotten close when Aidan’s wild side had emerged. Though they were close, there was always competition between them; girls, possessions, cars, etc. James had also always envied that their grandfather had taken with Aidan above everyone else.
Mr. Devlin turned to Aidan and sighed.
“Your grandfather has made his intentions for you Aidan very clear; however, before his death he has made changes to his last will and testament.” Everyone in the room looked at Aidan and then the hushed voices started circling the family. Devlin cleared his throat.
“You are the sole heir to your grandfather’s home, possessions, AIS and to a large monetary inheritance on top of that.” He took a deep breath. “However, your grandfather has certain ‘conditions’ to your inheritance.” Mr. Devlin held out the DVD and Aidan took it.
“I don’t understand…” he spoke cautiously.
“You will need to watch the DVD.” Mr. Devlin stood and asked for everyone, except for Aidan to leave the room. Aidan asked Liam and Viola to stay with him, they did as he requested.
Aidan went to the large TV in the room and began the DVD.
Aidan Senior appeared before them and Aidan heard Viola sniffle. He sat down between them again and watched the video.
“Aidan my boy…if you are watching this then I have finally kicked the bucket!” His laughter filled the room. “Well, by now that swindler Devlin had told you about the inheritance and my ‘changes’” there was a large smirk on his face.
“Aidan, you know that I favored you, hell everyone knows it. Now I will tell you why.” Aidan straightened up. “You my boy are the exact image of your grandmother just as your father was.” Aidan felt Liam stiffen at his side.
“Well, it’s as simple as that.” He chuckled again. “Know my boy that I loved you as a son and have always wanted what was best for you.” Then he sighed heavily.
“Now on to the pressing bullshit,” Aidan Sr. put a glass of brown fluid to his mouth and took a gulp; everyone watching knowing that it was bourbon. “Aidan, you get my house, my possessions and my money to do with as you wish as long as that within a year from tomorrow you are married.”
Aidan choked and Liam and Viola gasped.
“Did he just say married?” Aidan looked at Devlin who looked ashamed. He simply nodded.
“Yes my boy…I said you have to get married!” Aidan’s head shot back to the screen as his grandfather laughed. “You always said that I couldn’t tell you about those harlots that you traipse around with, well my son, I beg to differ.” He leaned in toward the camera and smiled. “Now for the rest…”
“There’s more?” Aidan put his head in his hands and groaned.
“AIS, ah yes. You are a shark my boy, an excellent asset to the company, and I have to say that you have learned and even taught well; however, you still lack one thing that we all need in our lives.” Aidan Senior smiled and leaned back into his chair. “You will inherit AIS after you have married and have conceived an heir to the Iverson family fortune within the first year of marriage.”
Aidan baulked again and as Liam and Viola gasped again.
“You have to be kidding me,” Aidan shouted and threw himself back into the chair.
“You will have temporary custodianship of the company and the money during the first year, along with the board of directors; however, if you do not meet my ‘conditions’ at the given times, then the house and money will be dissolved and distributed, and AIS will fall into the hands of the board.” Aidan Senior’s face got very serious as he raised his glass to the camera, took a long drink, slammed the glass down, and then spoke. “Do me proud my boy!” The screen went blank.
Aidan sat in shock.
“Um…Aidan, we have to go over the details of these conditions” Mr. Devlin interrupted as he headed back to the mahogany desk.
“There is more?” Aidan asked incredulously as he turned to Devlin.
“Well, it’s more just the details to your grandfather’s conditions,” Mr. Devlin looked up over a folder that he now held in his hands. “You know that your grandfather was a stickler for details” Devlin grinned.
“Yeah I know.” Aidan growled.
“Like grandson like grandfather?” Devlin smirked.
“Let’s get this over with,” Aidan groaned. ”Apparently I’ll have to go out and propose to someone tonight!” he growled.
