Book 2: Ascending Destruction

Amongst the Ruins has it's sequel!

In the year 2230, Earth continues to reclaim what it had once been. Signs of life sprout from once gray dirt. The overcast skies clear more frequently, allowing rays of sun to penetrate. Climates have altered and brought forth new beauty as well as adversities.

Where nature has made headway, humanity has stalled – even regressed. Renegades spread destruction and concern throughout the clans. With each decimated town they leave in their wake, the people in the clans turn their anger onto those who are supposed to protect them. The leaders have tried, but cannot stop these Renegades. Someone provides them with technology and information, but no one knows who.

The Renegades have instilled fear and carnage across the clans. Where they had not taken many people into captivity before, their prisoners are rumored to participate in ‘Survival Games’ for entertainment.

Shilo has lived the last 4 years in Mehdia with her son. No longer inspired to fight, after the losses she has suffered. Shilo has spent her time along side Zaphia studying herbal medicines and histories. It’s within the histories she sees humanity repeating their mistakes. Moved by the urge to save people from the Renegades, she struggles between maternal and fighter instincts. It’s from Thena she learns that theses instincts are not so far apart.

To ascend from the destruction around them, Thena sends Shilo on a journey she never expected. To survive the journey with her heart and soul intact, she must face sacrafice, betrayal, and her past.

It's been awhile....

And I've been busy.

Book1 - Amongst the Ruins of the Chronicals of 2020 is complete. Whew. Taking a few days off before I really get deep into my other WIPs. However, I will be working on some updates soon.

** It's my birthday week, so deserve a break. LOL **

A lot of you will be happy to know that I've reopened Vegas again. Yes, this means I'm very close to taking VFYH off of Hiatus status. Go ahead, I'll wait while you cheer.

Done? Okay...good.

Now, I've been reading through the completed part and I have to say...I need to do some rewrites. Hopefully you will like and enjoy the ideas I've been jotting down for early chapters as well as ones to come.

Okay, so....what's next.....

Ah, yes. Book 2 for Amongst the Ruins will be in the works once I've made some rewrites and edits to Book 1.

I'm still working on titles for Book 2. I just can't wrap my head around what I want to officially call it, though I have a couple ideas. Maybe I'll post them and see what you think.

Lastly, I'm considering moving my blog-webpage to another service. Blogger has been great, but I've found another hosting service who has some really great free features. I will keep you posted.

Hope everyone is well!

Amazing Read!!!!

Summary: Archaeologist Sheppard Smyth has staked his career as well as the memory of his deceased wife and partner on proving his widely-panned theory: Cleopatra VII, the last ruler of Ancient Egypt, was murdered. When a statue of the doomed Queen is discovered in an Olmec excavation site, Smyth is drawn to Mexico to investigate and, hopefully, find the proof that has evaded him for so long. Soon, he finds himself in the middle of the rivalry between the sexy, bewitching international thief, Victoria Kent, and commanding, ruthless Russian mobster, Dmitri Kronastia.

Both Dmitri and Victoria hold pieces to the puzzle that will finally shed light on Cleopatra’s death. As Shep is drawn further into their world of ancient gods, supernatural powers, and alternative history, little does he know that the fate of all—even humanity itself—may hinge on his ability to discover the truth among their fragmented claims. Working to decode the true past while attempting to save the future, Shep becomes a pawn in the hands of forces working out a quest older than the pyramids—a quest that may lead to the end of everything when it all comes together on 12.21.12.

Trust me when I say this is an amazing read!! I downloaded to my Touch Kindle and loved it.

Coming Soon....

Three part book/erotic series titled: "Talk to Me"

(Working Titles)

Book 1: “What are you wearing?”

Cassia Andrews, aka Callie Peitho, funds her college education as what she likes to call a ‘fantasy artist’. Her sister prefers the term ‘verbal prostitute’. If you can’t tell your parents what you do for a living, does that make it wrong?

Xander Kingston is a regimented businessman. He wouldn’t have gotten as far if he wasn’t. When his Vice President, and brother, sets up a conference call with a new prospect, he doesn’t think twice. His brother may be a prankster, but he would never interfere with work.

The moment she takes her new clients call Callie assumes he is new to this and being shy. To ease him into it, she begins with the basics. What she doesn’t expect is to be a part of a prank.

Xander is speechless. He can’t respond for only a few moments, but it’s long enough for the woman on the other end of the line to fill his head with dark fantasies. Quick to end the call, he is plagued the dark, sultry desires she weaved. A desire hotter than any of his casual relationships is born.

Book 2: “How may I direct your call?”

Tegan Cambell journeys to Hollywood, with stars in her eyes. She’s positive a director will provide her big break. Her aspirations are short lived after a multitude of rejections. It seems she can easily get the audition, but can’t act.

Unable to face the embarrassment of returning home, she takes a receptionist position at The Woodmont Agency. Hoping to use her powers of persuasion, she wants to work her way up the agency ladder. And maybe she’ll meet some celebrities along the way. What she doesn’t expect is the type of calls she receives from Ezra Sampson.

Ezra, Hollywood’s bad boy, love to play his role. As the most sought after actor, he gets whatever he wants. When he makes the call to his agent, he wants some dirty talk.

Veronica usually gives him what he wants, but a new voice answers his call. Her resistance to his desire only makes the game so much more fun.

Book 3: “Can you hear me now?”

In need of stress relief, Elizabeth Groves sets her laptop and blackberry aside for some self-love. She didn’t intend for an audience.

Horrified, Liz debates quitting before she is fired for sexual harassment. When she finally arrives to work with her resignation letter in hand, she isn’t surprised to be called into Human Resources. However, she is surprised by what they have to say.

Eddrick Blackwell hadn’t heard the late night call. Checking his voicemail, he is unprepared for what he hears. The onslaught of sweet panting and moaning unleash a side he tries to keep separate from work.

Deciding that working with Miss Groves will help overcome the fantasy his mind has on replay, she becomes his temporary assistant. Starting the first day, he realizes his mistake. The simple sound of her voice sends into a spiral of lust and dirty images. And why hasn’t he deleted the voicemail?

It's been a long long time....

Yes, I'm still alive. No, I haven't stopped writing.

The holidays and birthdays have taken up a great deal of time, along with my work schedule. However, I've been working on current projects and some new ideas.

Now if I could just hold off on the new project research long enough to write some new chapters. LOL
