I have have have to pimp out my girl, Athena Lyso. Her story, The Raven and The Wolf, was selected as a Finalist in the TN Contest.

Still waiting....

TextNovel has still not announced their semi-finalists, but after taking in all considerations this is a good thing. Anyhow, trying to be patient while I work through my edits on LIP.

*sigh* waiting is harder than you think it is, until you have to do it. LOL

I said I would be patient

So I said I would be understanding with the TextNovel Semi-finalists announcement, but that doesn't mean I didn't wake up this morning, yank my Touch Ipod from my nightstand and quickly check for it. With a highly dramatic groan, I fell back into my pillows with a grumbled "They're Killing Me!" LOL

I though I would get to compare the semifinalists against my own list of guesses, but no such luck, Yet. Once those are chosen, it will be a second round of editing/polishing and voting. Then finalists will be chosen. And the process repeats until the winner(s) is selected.

So here's to hoping that by Saturday we will all be celebrating with the chosen semis.

"I will be patient, I will be patient, I will be patient." I need to work on editing LIP some more anyhow (insert my five year old tongue stick out)

TextNovel Contest is Over.....

The TextNovel.com contest ended last night and I am 'patiently' awaiting the semi-finalist announcements.

The announcement is supposed to happen sometime today, which I am sooo excited about. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they needed till tomorrow to get the announcement(s) out. I mean its sure to be a difficult decision for them then you add in all the site issues the poor TN team has had to work through. Whew.

I just want to say that I would understand if it took an extra day or two to get it the announcement(s) out there. Doesn't mean I will like it! But I will understand.

TextNovel contest extended...

Due to the site issues during the last day of the TextNovel contest, it has been extended throughout today. Semi-finalists will be announced by the end of the week, hopefully.
