What Happens In Vegas Follows You Home - update

So, I was inspired to begin the early stages of working on this story. It was just something that I couldn't fight any longer.

I'm not saying that it will come soon, because I have quite a few things that I am still deciding upon. For example:

- I am working out the new names and possibly new locations in the story.

- Character inspiration just hasn't come to me yet. I usually look around online at different pictures of people that resemble the idea of the character in my head.

- I have also been playing with the idea of writing my first 'third person' narrative for this story. I haven't done it before, but I have this urge to try it out. I'm not sure though...it would be a large task to take on, but...we will have to wait and see.

- There are also some new ideas that have come to me that would make some changes to the storyline.

- And finally, I am playing with a new title. Not too far from the original, but something new. My current preferred title: 'Vegas Follows You Home'.

LIP - Currently updated

I have the newest updates of LIP (Live In Position) posted through chapter 6.

I'm excited because I have a new chapter that will be included in the midst of the currently written chapters. I have also been working on the never before been written/seen/read chapters. :o)

Live In Position - Cover and Summary

Twenty five year old Sophia Ashwood, part time nanny and childcare worker, has just graduated college and is ready to write the next best seller; however, she needs a full time job that is flexible enough for her to fullfill her dream.

During her decision making process Sophia's friend Miranda, current live in nanny for the Bishop family, suggests that she change her placement status to full-time, live-in availablity. Miranda is positive that Sophia could find a great placement and be able to use any spare time to work on her writing.

Neither girl realizes that both of their lives are about to turn into completely different directions when Miranda's fiance proposes.

Miranda must leave behind the Bishop home and worst six year old Victoria Bishop, but who better to step in than her best friend Sophia?

Sophia is excited, but can she handle the lifestyle of the high society family, the intense schedule of a high society six year old, and the coldness of an absent father? She will soon find out just how much she can withstand for a beautiful six year old red haired girl.

I have started reworking of LIP (Live In Postion). Of course it is only chapter one so far and it will take some time for me to work out the rest of the chapters. I have some new plans for the story.

I'm not necessarily changing the story, but I plan to add some new 'scenes' that were not in the original fic.

Live In Position

It is now getting much more attention, since I have finished the 3rd round of editing with Fallen Star. I'm working on a 'cover' image for the story as well as editing and adding some new parts to the first couple of chapters.

Right now I am estimating that I may be able to get, at least, the first new chapter posted to textnovel by Monday.

*Oh...I am also working on the inspiration photos for my characters as well.

The Live In Position - Redo

I am currently working on updating LIP, at least the chapters that I already have completed. From there I will have to work on finishing the story. My original ideas were there, but now that I have decided to rework this story it has opened up many possibilities for me.

For those who read LIP on fanfiction, prepare for some changes and adjustments to characters and appearances. (Do not fear...Intense Green eyes is staying!)

Okay, so I hope to begin posting to textnovel soon, as well as some of the inspiration pictures that I use when writing. Perhaps I'll include my playlist for this story as well.

Character Inspiration - Jimmy Monroe

BASSIST: 'The Forgotten'

This is as close to Jimmy as I could get. However, Jimmy has both ears pierced, tattoos, and black streaks under his hair.

Character Inspiration - Serena Ryder

DRUMMER: 'Hushed Mentality'

Sister to Mia, mother to Ryan, and drummer for 'Hushed Mentality'. This is pretty close to Serena. Though I see her hair a little more vivid red and she has a sleeve tattoo on her left arm.

Character Inspiration - Jackson Shaw

GUITARTIST: 'The Forgotten'

I can't give you much for Jackson either; however, this is pretty close to his hair and facial features as I could get.

Keep in mind that Jackson has a decent amount of tattoos and some reach his neck. His left brow is pierced with a barbell and he had two large diamonds in each lobe. Also, Jackson is 7 foot 8 inches tall. He is a very tall boy. :o)

So, I couldn't really find a pic that truly encompasses Elliott. Benji Madden was as close as I could get to my imagined character.

Elliott is much larger, muscularly, and has gauges in his ears. (Those are just some of the differences.)

GUITARIST: 'Hushed Mentality'

So, where you see the darker blonde/brown, thats purple for my girl Kat. You also have to imagine the tattoo that is on her arm.

Character Inspiration - Laney Carter

BASS GUITARIST: 'Hushed Mentality'

This picture is almost Laney to a perfect T. It was a little unsettling when I found this, because she was so much like the Laney in my head. All she needed was darker hair and a few small adjustments.

Character Inspiration - Mia Ryder

SINGER: 'Hushed Mentality'

Mia has very dark brown eyes (almost black), not blue. She also has a small diamond piercing on the right side of her nose.

Also included is an example of the tattoo that is similar to hers.

Character Inspiration - Christopher Mason

SINGER: 'The Forgotten'

You have to give Chris viper bite piercings in his lower lip, a tongue piercing, and he has black-blue hair.

Included is an example of his tattoos, though they also cover his chest and lower on his arms.

Story Summary

Christopher Mason is the lead singer of The Forgotten, an extremely popular rock band. He has a reputation for being 'difficult' and distaste for all girl bands.

Enter Mia Ryder the head strong lead singer of Hushed Mentality. This all girl rock band is on the rise in the music world and is opening for The Forgotten, not at the request or approval of Chris. He has a plan for their removal.

However, Chris has a dark past and a secret. He struggles with the past that he tries to forget as the date approaches. The ghosts trapped in his memory refuse to go away and so does Mia.

Mia will either watch him fall or maybe, just maybe, catch him.
